小野小町-Ono no Komachi- is one of the famous woman poet in Heian era. This is designed with her poem that expresses the short life beautifully.

This KIMONO is simple style as the YUKATA that is worn at Japanese-Style Hotels. It is different with typical KIMONO. It can be worn without "Ohashori". "Ohashori" is a fold around the hips that is created by tucking excess fabric to make the KIMONO fit the body. This product doesn't have side halls and the Sleeves are short. That's why the people who are not used to KIMONO can wear it without feeling of wrongness.
