About Shichigosan and Hifu
Shichi-Go-San is a traditional Japanese event that celebrates the growth of children aged 3, 5, and 7. During this time, children visit shrines to pray for health and happiness.
Hifu is a traditional outer garment worn by children on the Shichi-Go-San ceremony, and is especially popular among girls. It features gorgeous patterns and colors, and because it has no sleeves, it is easy to move around in and comfortable to wear. Hifu has a cuteness and formality that is appropriate for the Shichi-Go-San celebration.
